A nutritious and sweet winter vegetable from the Brassicacae family. The sprout itself is the leaf bud which forms in clusters along the stem, similar in appearance to a small cabbage. They mature best in cool to frosty conditions, best planted late spring or early autumn for growth and development into winter.
