This genus is part of the daisy family (Asteraceae) and comprises of annuals and perennials popular for their mass flowering in warmer months (they can flower all year in warmer climates). Large variety of colours and will spread over time. They can tolerate light frost and coastal conditions, and respond well to dead-heading and pruning.
