A delicious cool season crop, with the added benefit of being a legume and fixing nitrogen in your soil. Pea pods are harvested and eaten whole as the pods lack the inedible fiber that other pea varieties have (in which only the pea after shelling is edible). Snow peas can be grown any time outside of the peak of summer and are frost tolerant. Train onto a trellis or similar climbing structure for a large vine that will produce well.
