A fantastic plant for beginner gardeners due to its easy care and high productivity. Silverbeet has large, dark green, highly nutritious leaves, the white stem of which can also be used. Due to their fairly rapid growth they do well in nitrogen rich soil. Easy to grow year round, but a favourite in winter due to its frost hardiness.
