Columbine, "Granny's bonnet"
This perennial is always a favourite for the flowering stems which reach above the foliage with spurred, bell-shaped flowers. Flowers in bicolour combinations or straight colours of red, pink, yellow, purple, and white appear late spring and persist into summer. This genus is known to be adaptable and will do well in part shade.
